Our class was spending a day up at Mt. Washington. Our skiing instructor was teaching us about the Biatholon, where the competitors must ski over to the target area, then shoot the them. She was explaining that it would be very tiring to do so. I have to agree; carrying a gun while skiing in circles, then shooting… not very easy.

Due to the “El Nino” storm, hundreds of Humboltd (Jumbo/Red Devil) Squid have migrated up to Vancouver Island. Our class dissected one whom we named Mike!
